                       Part-Time Marketing Intern (Job # 235)

                       Schedule & Pay:  15-20 hrs/week, unpaid

                       Location: New York City

We're seeking a smart, ambitious college/university or graduate student or recent college/university graduate who desires to work hard, have fun, and gain valuable experiences in the emerging field of experiential marketing by undertaking a sales-Intern role with the company. 

 

Our intern will work closely by phone and email each day with the company's founder, design team, writers, and production assistants who execute each project. Most importantly, the intern will help manage our customer resource management (CRM) Salesforce platform, and will outreach to prospective clients in volume by email and phone to gain new company business.

 

No prior experience is necessary, but very strong written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, and being a quick learner are a must. Depending on the project and the client's needs, you may be asked to work as an onsite production assistant in New York, New Jersey, or Washington D.C. to observe and help manage projects.

The intern will work roughly 15-20+ hours per week depending on schedules and experience, and should have his/her own laptop, cell phone with email, and travel abilities to get around New York City. (The position is unpaid but payment and/or commuter stipend can be offered depending on experience, education and potential company projects.)

  • Experience with social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, etc.), understand social media marketing practices;

  • Skills and interest in video, photography, graphic design a plus;

  • Go-getter attitude, love of research and learning new things

  • Superb organizational skills! Able to work independently, on deadline, and interact with sources responsibly.
